Anyone here know anything about horsesoe dentures? I have a really B A D gag reflex and think this is only way to go...

I went to a new dentist 3 months ago and he told me i needed all 7 of my old fillings refilled because they were starting to decay underneath. Even though I had no pain in any of my teeth I allowed him to do so. Two months after he did the fillings in back of my mouth I started having severe pain. It wakes me up at nite. I went back to the office he took xrays and said everything is fine so he put me on vicoden. He has no idea why I'm in such pain and suggests I have a pulp test done. I don't have insurance & can't afford to goto a specialist to have this done. I think he damaged the nerves when he redid the fillings & does not want to admit it. What should I do? Would this be considered malpractice since i had no pain pryor to going to him. All I want is the pain to stop.

I went to the dentist and they found a dark area on my x-ray that they said might be decay. My tooth never bothered me before. I agreed to have a filling redone. That was a 1 1/2 weeks ago. I went in twice to have the bite adjusted. But I still wake up every night in pain. The dentist now says I may need a root canal, what do u think???

I want to become a dental hygentist but do not know where to start. Please give me some advice.

I have a cavity and, unfortunately, I have no way to get to a dentist for about 3 weeks.
I'm taking ibruprofin and asprin several times a day to deal with the pain. Often it doen't work and my head throbs and I have headaches that make it hard to work and get things done. I'm woken up at night but the pills take time to work and Orajel doesn't really help at all.
Does anyone have advice on ANY methods to deal with the pain or to help the cavity until I can get to the dentist?

Im am currently a Perio assistant wanting to further my education and become a Dentist. This is something Ive wanted since I was a little girl! Has anyone heard of any really good dental schools???????

4 days ago my tooth started hurting me. during the first 2 days it was just the tooth. then my upper lip started to swell and bring pain whenever i touched it etc. now right under my right nostril i have a small bump and my lip is swollen. i really have about ZERO money right now so going to the dentist is kind of out of the question at the moment =( the pain in my upper lipp is started to decrease but the swelling is still there. any opinions on how i can bring the swelling down? thank you so much!

I recently moved to a new area and went to a dentist in my provider directory.. I did not like the especially well. I got x-rays done. Can I get those x-rays scince I paid for the vist to take to a new dentist? What is the common procedure for that. I also found this dentist had a bad report on the Better Business Buruea website

anybody had a root canal shortly before flying? i've heard that it could cause pain due to air pressure.
