  • In Need of Dental Assistance

I need some major work done-- several root canals and all my upper teeth crowned. I'm just a poor artist and the cost is just out of my ability but I could possibley cover some costs. Any sympathetic dentist willing to trade art or promotional services? Or if you have any suggestions of how I might get help for this work, please pass it on. Much appreciated.

  • Removal of bad back teeth (6's)

Hi, I have trouble with my top teeth 6 back on both sides. Both have root fillings :(

I need orthodontic treatment and they said that 2 teeth have to be removed (they said 4 back from front on both sides) - Would it be possible to remove my bad teeth for this treatment instead of 2 healthy teeth?

  • Sensitivity and pain under bridge.

I have had sensitivity and pain under my lower left bridge. If one of the tooth structures under the bridge needs a root canal or is abcessed, can the bridge be removed (easily?) and put back or will I need to have another new bridge made. That would suck

  • Nerve Removal

I never had major problems--maybe 3 cavities in my life when I started seeing a new dentist. I had NO problems. So--I go in and he tells me I need 3 fillings. One of these fillings hurt from time to time and I kept going back--finally, 6 months later--he took an x-ray, said he saw more decay and removed and replaced the filling. It has been 10 days and the new filling is even worse. I cannot chew at all on that side of my mouth and it throbs sometimes at night. I went back and he told me I need a nerve removed because they sometimes go bad. I just don't like the way this all sounds--especially since I never had any kind of problem. Can anyone tell me if I should get a second opinion or if his answer seems correct? Also, can someone tell me exactly what this procedure entails?

  • Molar chipped...

I found my molar was chipped slightly in the front on the bottom. It is light brown. It doesn't hurt. Is this easy to fix? Is it ok to wait 88 days for my dental insurance? Thanks

  • Crown

I had a broken tooth but, had no pain with the tooth at all. I went to the dentist and they applied a porcelain crown to the broken tooth. NOW, every time I bite down on something, I have pain. I did not have pain there before. Why did they put a crown on now if I have pain? What should I do. I can't(and shouldn't) live with this bad crown. I'm sure they will suggest a root canal. But, if I had no pain before, why do I have pain now.

  • five tooth bridge

Can someone help me with some dental advice. I need a five tooth bridge, upper center mouth. One dentist said implants would be best, and one other dentist says he does 5 tooth bridges in front all the time and they last. Is this true? Does a 5 tooth bridge have a chance to survive since those are your biting an apple teeth. thank you

  • teeth..

Hello, i'm a 26 year old simgle mom who has had problems with her teeth, all her life. I cannot afford proper dental treatments, and my company does not offer dental insurance. I am in pain nearly 24/7 and every one of my teeth is literally rotting. I need help so badly, and if anyone can suggest *ANYTHING*, I would be eternally grateful. I currently live in Western Maryland, and cannot even get help via welfare unless I quit my job, which I simply cannot do. I'm at my wit's end here.. so many sleepless nights are affecting me physically at this point and I am ready to just die. I'm so miserable and just need help so badly! Does anyone know anything they can suggest? Right now I don't even smile because of how horrid my teeth look. I'm so frustrated that I don't even care about how it looks anymore, I just want the pain to be gone...
PLEASE, if anyone has any suggestions, email me - tryntahyde@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance for even the tiniest bit of advice.
    Andrea
